Situation in Turkey: The development of Green Building Certification in Turkey is progressing very slowly. There is no official Green Building Certification System in our country yet. However, some private sector companies have developed their own certification systems. Among them; There are YeS-TR National Green Building Certificate, LEED Green Building Certificate and BREEAM Green Building Certificate given by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Situation in the World: Global interest in Green Building Certification has been increasing in recent years. These certification systems are widely used, especially in the USA, Europe and Asia. These include international certification systems such as LEED Green Building Certification, BREEAM Green Building Certification, Green Globes Green Building Certification and Estidama Green Building Certification.
