Urbanization and Climate Change within the Scope of COP29: Effects of the Urbanization Process on Climate Change in Azerbaijan and Sustainable Urban Planning Processes

Climate change is an important factor affecting urbanization processes and urban planning in Azerbaijan, as in the rest of the world. Azerbaijan, as a rapidly urbanizing country, is taking steps to understand the effects of climate change on the urbanization process and develop sustainable urban planning strategies.

Urbanization Process and Effects of Climate Change in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan has taken important steps in the process of economic growth and development in recent years, and urbanization has increased rapidly in this process. However, this rapid urbanization process has also brought environmental and climatic problems.
