Greenhouse gases, unlike natural gases in the atmosphere, are gases released as a result of human activities and cause the greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases increase the temperature of the earth's surface by trapping the heat in the atmosphere, which leads to global climate changes.
The most common greenhouse gases are chemical compounds such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), ozone (O3), oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). These gases originate from human activities such as power generation, industrial activities, vehicular traffic, agriculture and deforestation.
Greenhouse gases are one of the most important causes of global warming. Global warming causes sea level rise, extreme weather events, melting of glaciers and climate change. Therefore, it is of great importance to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change.

As a result, greenhouse gases are gases from human activities, as well as natural gases in the atmosphere, and constitute an important cause of global climate change. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is one of the most important steps to be taken to combat global climate change, a major problem facing humanity.
