CBAM (Carbon Benefits Attribution Method) and ISO 14064-1 are standards used for the evaluation and reporting of studies on climate change. ISO 14064-1 provides guidelines and methods for organizations to identify, measure and report their carbon footprints. CBAM, on the other hand, is a method used to evaluate the effects of carbon reduction efforts by organizations. Specifically, CBAM is used to estimate how much carbon reduction projects organizations undertake are reducing carbon and how effective these projects are. Therefore, there is a link between CBAM and ISO 14064-1 because both are used for measurement and reporting on carbon footprint.
