This policy, as ProPM, emphasizes our corporate social responsibility principles and the importance and priority of the issue for our management, employees and all our stakeholders. Believing that corporate social responsibility principles are among the components of development, ProPM considers providing value to the society it lives in as one of its main areas of responsibility, and within this framework, it carries out social responsibility and sponsorship activities in many areas.
Our basic principles on which we base our social responsibility practices are as follows;
1. Human Rights
We respect Human Rights. We are against forced labor and human trafficking. We treat everyone equally and fairly. We act sensitively to the traditions and cultures of Turkey and the countries in which we operate, and act in accordance with all legal regulations. We do not accept discrimination among employees based on language, race, color, gender, political opinion, belief, religion, sect, age, physical disability and similar reasons. As ProPM, we believe that all of our employees have the right to work in a healthy and safe environment, in working conditions that comply with human dignity.
2. Working Conditions
2.1. Prevention of Child Labor: Child labor cannot be employed at any stage of production. Businesses must comply with the age limit stipulated by the ILO practices for the employment of children. This age limit must not be below the age at which the child reaches at the end of the compulsory education period, and in no case below the age of 15.
2.2. Wages and Social Services, Hours of Work: Wages and social services should be determined in accordance with the basic principles applicable to the minimum wage, overtime and social services mandated by law.
2.3. Right to Work Freely: Forced or compulsory labor is prohibited. Employees must have the right to terminate the employment contract within an appropriate time frame.
2.4. Freedom of Assembly and Union: Our employees should be able to frequently talk to the management about working conditions without fear of negative consequences of any kind.
2.5. Health and Safety: The institution ensures the safety and health of its employees in the workplace, at least within the framework of the law, and constantly tries to improve the work environment.
3. Business Ethics
3.1. Anti-Corruption: The highest level of integrity is expected in all business activities and relationships. All forms of corruption, bribery, blackmail and abuse are strictly prohibited.
3.2. Prohibition of Discrimination: It is forbidden to discriminate against employees of any kind. This includes putting people at a disadvantage because of their gender, race, social group, color, disability, union, political opinion, origin, religion, age, pregnancy.
4. Environment
We manage the environmental impacts that may arise from all of our activities responsibly. ProPM is responsible for determining and implementing all kinds of improvement and development studies that will minimize the environmental impact of its activities at a level appropriate to its fields of activity.
