1.Environmental Performance Improvement:
- Waste Management: Strategies to reduce waste production, encourage recycling, and handle hazardous waste safely.
- Energy Efficiency: Renewable energy use, energy saving measures and practices for sustainable energy sources.
- Water Management: Water conservation, efficient use of water and water pollution prevention strategies.
2.Green Infrastructure and Planning:
- Environmentally Friendly Infrastructure: Green buildings, energy efficient facilities, natural landscape designs and green energy systems.
- Traffic Reduction and Public Transportation: Plans that encourage businesses and employees to use public transportation or shared transportation.
3.Green Certification and Standards:
- Green OSB Certificate: A certification process that demonstrates compliance with national or international environmental standards.
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS): Implementation of environmental management systems based on standards such as ISO 14001.
4.Social and Economic Sustainability:
- Community Participation and Cooperation: Inclusion of local communities in the project, social responsibility projects and cooperation initiatives.
- Economic Development: Strategies that support the local economy, encouraging small and medium-sized businesses.

The Green OIZ Project is a comprehensive sustainability effort designed to enable businesses to gain competitive advantage by adopting environmentally friendly business practices, to support a sustainable future by minimizing their environmental impacts, and to strengthen cooperation with society.
Green OIZ Certificate Conditions:
- Establishment of an established OIZ management
- Tracking performance indicators
- Preparation of green transformation plan
- Creating the master plan and reviewing it periodically and revising it when necessary
- Preparation of a plan that evaluates environmental impacts
- Creating a plan for industrial symbiosis practices, infrastructure and facilities
- Having at least one of the ISO 50001 Energy, ISO 14001 Environment or ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificates
- Presence of at least one of the social facilities such as hospital, nursery, vocational training buildings, first aid center, etc. within and/or around the OIZ
- Preparation of a plan detailing the use of renewable energy within the scope of the Green OIZ project
- Planning various activities that provide information about the Green OIZ certification system and increase the awareness of employees and companies
- Supporting SMEs that contribute to OIZ activities
- Creating and publishing annual reports containing information about the green performance of the OIZ, just like the corporate sustainability reports prepared by companies annually
